About the Gathering

Southern Rodmakers is an annual gathering of bamboo fly rod makers. Over 300 craftsmen from 39 states have gathered on the White river near Cotter Arkansas since 1998. If you're interested in making bamboo fly rods, join us at the gathering in October, or follow the links below to join the on-line gathering of bamboo rod makers. "The List" is a great place to start. The list is an old school e-mail server with hundreds of members around the world.

SRG 2016 Presenters

Bill Armon is looking for volunteers to do presentations at SRG 2016.  Here's the note he posted on the rodmakers list if you missed it.

It is time again for making plans for SRG this fall at Fulton's Lodge on the White River in Arkansas.

Previously I have started recruiting speakers early than this but I seem to have lost my notes from last year as to what topics and who to ask to present. I have given up on finding these notes. Therefore I need your help. If we spoke last year at SRG please send me a heads up
on what we discussed. Thanks!!!

Also any and all input would be appreciated. Please send me your ideas for programs. Please let me know if you have a topic you would
like to either present or have presented.

See everyone in October on the "White".
