About the Gathering

Southern Rodmakers is an annual gathering of bamboo fly rod makers. Over 300 craftsmen from 39 states have gathered on the White river near Cotter Arkansas since 1998. If you're interested in making bamboo fly rods, join us at the gathering in October, or follow the links below to join the on-line gathering of bamboo rod makers. "The List" is a great place to start. The list is an old school e-mail server with hundreds of members around the world.

SRG 2017 Craft Corner

There will be a special program this year for the ladies of SRG, and anyone else that's interested in the program.  Here's a note from Elain Biondo and Martha Lovstad about the program.  Contact me here if you want to contact Elain or Martha directly.

Craft Corner...Come Join Us!

If you are interested in creating a Seasonal arrangement bring your creative juices and let's create!

Elaine Biondo and Martha Lovstad will be hosting this event. We will help you create a wall hanging, a centerpiece or whatever you would like. We have a limited amount of supplies so we are asking you to bring items. I have used mirrors for mine. (see attached pictures) A wood base will work also, depending on what you want to use it for.

What you should bring with you:

Mirror or base (I have used mirror tiles)
Themed ornaments/decorations – be creative and bring lots.
Low heat glue gun and glue sticks

A box or something to bring it back home in. Maybe even bubble wrap!
