About the Gathering
Southern Rodmakers is an annual gathering of bamboo fly rod makers. Over 300 craftsmen from 39 states have gathered on the White river near Cotter Arkansas since 1998. If you're interested in making bamboo fly rods, join us at the gathering in October, or follow the links below to join the on-line gathering of bamboo rod makers. Taper Quest 2017

(Yaz) is taking the lead on TaperQuest 2017. The 2017 tapers will be
8wt's or bigger. Yaz has asked that we let him know which tapers we're
going to bring to the gathering. It can be any taper you choose.
Hopefully there won't be too many duplicate tapers. Yaz is looking for a
variety of tapers to evaluate. Contact Yaz is
